Thanksgiving is less then a week away so I have decided to write about some of the people and things that I'm thankful for in my life. I will try to post only once per day (maybe more since I'm going through blog withdraw). Each post will focus on things I'm most thankful for.
Since this is my 94th post and it's rumored to be tradition to have your 100th be 100 things about you, (being italian we think it bad luck to mess with tradition) I will start with The 4 "things" I am MOST thankful for here. Ending, hopefully in post 100 later this week with all about me.
Lucky you!
I'm MOST thankful for these 4 people in this order:
FAITH or God, Or Jesus, or the Holy Spirit, or however you want to say it. My faith is every part of my daily life and I'm constantly having little conversations with God about life in general. I'm greatful and credit Joe for answering my tough faith questions and allowing me to discover it all over again and become closer to God then I have ever been before.
Speaking of Joe. He comes in a close second. He is my Everything. I mean Everything. He's my best friend, Lover and the most wonderful husband I could have ever dreamed of. He makes being married to him and loving him easy. Our marriage, like everyones, has times of anger and times that are tough, but with him, I feel safe and secure in knowing that I have my very best friend at my side and the person who knows and loves me through and through.
Tied at 3rd are Jack and Luke and most likely any of my future children. They are truely the light of my/our lives. The funny thing about that statement is that Jack means "truth" and Luke means "Light".
I just adore them both and cannot believe how
lucky I am to have these little boys who are healthy and wonderful. God is good.
I have a lot to be thankful for. Mostly though... I'm thankful that I have this little blog to spill it all out to. Makes me a better wife and momma to have the ability to share my heart
here and know that my kids can look back one day and know how much I loved them and their Daddy as well as how much he loved them. They simply adore that man, and who can blame them.... have you seen him... no wait... stop looking.. he's mine :).
See... Aren't I So Lucky!!

I love that you talk about how Luke means light. One of the reasons we named our older son Luke is because we loved the meaning. And when he was born, on a grey February day, the sun broke through the clouds for just a split second after he was born... and then we knew it was God's way of telling us that we chose the right name.
