I did this for Jack.... well, ok 3 of the 4 songs were for him. The last one was for Mom.
The one for Mom is called "Girl Put Your Records On". It's a Corrine Bailey Rae song that always makes me dance.
Anyway, I love the beat more then anything, and all of a sudden there was the Man. He was cleaning up a few dishes as the boys & I sat and danced a little. I noticed though that as he walked away, there was the swagger.
In my humble opinion, you need to be quite a man's man to pull off a swagger to the chipettes. But he does, oh how that man does. He also then turns to me and says, "I saw you lookin'!"
Yes dear, I was lookin'. I will keep lookin' too if that's alright by you.
Today is our MANaversary.
Nope, I didn't spell it wrong.
Today we celebrate our 6 year anniversary the Man way.
There is a Vikings game on and by the power of DVR, we will get to watch in soon because the boys will be sleeping.
There will be bbq wings, hummus, flatbread, pizza rolls, soda and some yelling at the t.v.
It will be amazing. Amazing for the Man I was blessed to marry. Amazing for the wife who gets to cuddle up next to him. Even more amazing because tomorrow we have the day off and the kids will have a sitter.
That will begin the WOMANaversary.
There will be a chick flick.
Italian food.
Cuddling.
Shopping.... or rather browsing.
Did I mention what an amazing couple of days????
It's what I like to call a combo anniversary. Both parties get some gender needs covered :)

You're not the only one who hearts her DVR when it comes to football games. There are SO many times I wonder how my mom did it when my dad was glued to the TV on the weekends watching the big game(s). Now if someone poops their pants Brian has no excuses...PAUSE!
