I'm having one of those days. You know, the ones where you plan for a nap time and it tricks you into false hope and then poof.... no nap for one and you're kinda annoyed. Yep, that's me.
It started at 5 with Luke crying. I went in, and snuggled him for a half hour and then put him in his bed. He was fine long enough for me to climb back into my bed and lay me head down. So I tried a bottle and got him to sleep just in time for me to once again lay down and Jack was up. He thankfully let me lay there a while longer.
I decided this would not get me down. I'm tired but not defeated. I showered and curled my hair (which takes like 30 min. for just the curling, BTW) Then Luke was once again up and we had breakfast.
We decided to hit up the zoo. It was fun and the kids played. There were a few un-bloggable moments that happened, but all in all it was nice.
After a lunch stop, we headed for our ride home, which takes 20 min. Luke fell asleep on the way. We got home, I transferred him and Jack, bless his heart, went right to bed. I began to eat my lunch and heard a noise from Luke's room. Sure enough, he'd poo-ed. I changed him and put him back. This sent him kicking the crib and subsequently the wall behind and causing a ruckus.
I went and got him, brought him downstairs and he played. He played like a nap wasn't part of the rest of the days plan. He played like he'd had a 3 hour nap.
An hour later, he's finally resting. I'm pumping out a quick, random, meaningless blog, and hoping for some me time.
I'm just tired, wondering what more is going on with my pancreas stuffs and the house is a mess. It could be so very much worse, and I'm thankful it's now.
