Honored

Have you ever had a moment where you were surprised

and thrilled to tears all at the same time?

Last week we brought over food to T & E's house because they just had a baby girl.

We came, added some goodies to their fridge, and shared some pizza.

Joe and I got our baby fix while taking turns holding Miss Molly.

After, as we were eating pizza, T& E began to tell us how they came by the date for Molly's baptism. They aren't doing it till June, due to classes/schedules etc... and were filling us in on their process. Mind you, if you know me at all, I kept asking questions and interrupting them. Little did I know that they were going to ask us to be her Godparents!

I was so honored that I began tearing up and hugged them both. We have grown much closer to their little family in the last few years and I cannot tell you how great that has been.

Joe is so smitten with Molly that each time we see her and leave, he comments how "cute" she is. We are also pretty enamored with her siblings Aidan and Charlie as well. Charlie is funny and always making us laugh with his requests for "lunch". Aidan is smart and witty too. He and Jack are either the best of friends or bickering like brothers.
