Poor boy

|
I went to pick up the kiddo's from their nanny E's house today with a small spring in my step. I hadn't been feeling well & had stayed home to get some sleep and feel better. It was 60 degrees according to my car temp gauge thingie and I was day dreaming of a long walk to the park, planting seeds, and pulling out toys from the shed.

Then I walked in the door. There sat my buggie, with rosey cheeks and a sad face. He was full of tears and when I touched him he felt like he was on fire. I was really scared. E, doesn't have a thermometer and thought she "wouldn't call, since it was so close to pick up time."

I got him home and found he had a fever of 102.5. He said his tummy hurt but not like "the frow-up" just hurts. I gave him Tylenol and an hour later he was no better.

Now it is 8:27 and he's at urgent care with Daddy. He's also getting a chest x-ray to make sure that his pneumonia has cleared up.

Poor poor Jack Jack. My boy who loves nothing more then the wind in his hair and riding his bike wherever the wind decides to take him. He will be down and out. I'm hoping not for long though. I worry sometimes when we seem to have been so constantly sick, if there is more too this.

For now I'll just pray that he will get some medicine and no-one else will get it. Wishful thinking I know..... but a girl can try right?
