Deals, A date and a huge belly ache

|
This weekend has FLOWN by.

Friday my sister in law and I took on all 5 of our kids and attempted to have a movie night. I say that, because Luke has napped early that day and woke from nap around 12:15 p.m. So, he was running on fumes when we arrived. We still played and had loads of fun too.

Saturday was also fun. I woke at the crack of 6 to get some coffee and sit in line ( in 40 degree weather BTW) to wait for a garage sale that opened at 9. This special sale happens once a year and you can get things like gently used double strollers for $10-50. Last years big score for the V family was a little tyke's house for a whopping $20. This year it was 2 large zip lock baggies full of wooden Thomas trains. I refuse to by those bad boys at the full retail price of $14.00 a piece. Instead I will wait, and freeze, for a whole bag at the cost of $2.50. As if God himself heard Jack's insistent prayers for a razor scooter, (not just any one mind you, an ORANGE ONE) there were only 2 scooters at the sale and much to our delight, one was orange and the one we would have chosen anyway.

We came home from the sale to play more with our cousins and have mid-days baths. Those were due to loads of fun in the sandbox and a birthday party later that afternoon. We all took a nap (other then Daddy) then proceeded to the party. On the way, we called my mom and asked if by chance she would sit at the house while the kiddo's slept so we could have a "date night" seeing to movie Date Night. She said yes!! THANKS MOM!

After getting to the party, and having some dinner, I began to notice a certain pain in my abdomen that sadly was all too familiar to when I had been in the hospital. This pain didn't leave and proceeded to stay on for the rest of the night. Thankfully, I was able to take some meds and at least dull it down a bit to see the show. I LOVED the movie and thought it was a great one for married couples to see.

Now it's Sunday and beautiful outside, so I'm headed to be out there with my little family and make more memories. Hope you are doing the same................
