There has been a death in Joe's family. His cousin Amber had a little boy 4 years ago named Connor. As you can read from the link, Connor was born with a genetic heart defect and to make a very long story short... his little heart gave out from trying to keep up with his big Spirit. Tonight my heart is with Amber. How can I begin to imagine what she must be thinking, feeling or needing? She also has a younger son Peter to be strong for and take care of. I cannot fathom her loss. I pray that I never have to. God, please take care of them. Please put peace in their hearts.
Joe sent me the notification of his death with a simple subject line that I think is fitting. "Tonight I will hold our boys just a little bit tighter."
How thankful I am, EVERY DAY, to have my health, my husbands health, our children's health and our friends and families' health. That is all we need. To be healthy.
I can only hope that Connors family will heal from this loss.
